“The books on tape version read by Stanley Tucci is quite wonderful, too. And so on.”

“I have heard some books on tape of other books. For some reason, I have never done that with Vonnegut. I just have to dive in with them.”

“Quite possibly in my top five books. It wasn't the first thing I read by Vonnegut but it's probably my favorite. I have such a hard time explaining to people who haven't read it how funny it is, I'm not sure why. Always makes me laugh though.”

“Why isn't this on my list? I read this for school after "Cat's Cradle" and became a Vonnegutian for life. Glad to see this here. Glad to see you here, too!”

“So, what was your favorite Vonnegut? (I suppose Cat's Cradle might be mine.)”

“I go back and forth between God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater and Cat's Cradle. I have yet to read Galapagos, Timequake, and most of the story collections. Judging by how frequently I hear people name those as favorites, however, I feel comfortable assuming that ranking won't change anytime soon.
Cute cat!”

“God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater would be a close second. Galapagos I'd read only for the sake of thoroughness, Timequake doesn't deserve even that.
She was the best cat! Thanks. Have a happy, warm holiday season!”

“Aye +1
Vonnegut rarely gets mentioned when people are banging on about the Great American Novel but for my feeling he is streets ahead of Franzen, Updike, DeLillo, Wallace, Auster etc etc”

“Still one of his best books and I think that should have continued with all of illustrated works. Wonderful!”
