“Well said. The TV show "House" did a take-off episode on Dr. Farmer - showing his less than pleasant personality traits, but like you, the good he accomplishes is amazing. Greg Mortensen - Three Cups of Tea - is a more likable international hero type.”

“I appreciate your note. A colleage recommended "Three Cups of Tea." That's next on the list. You have a great batch of books there. Did you like "Strength in What Remains" as much as "Mountains Beyond Mountains"?
By the way, I don't have a picture up yet because I don't have a recent picture of myself. It's more fun to play the game with all the pieces, so I'll do my best to show up soon.”

“I agree. When you read about what one person is capable of doing it makes other things seem much more doable. He's to be admired - even if the series House did a show that was supposedly showing some of Farmer's less than pleasant personality features.”
