“Reading Vonnegut's definition of a karass was kind of a revelation for me (trite as that sounds). I had always had this notion that there were people I met who were somehow "important" in my life--sometimes even though I had only connected with them tangentially and for a brief period of time; it was just this gut feeling. Having someone put a name to that was kind of awesome.”
