“Even though most book to screen transfers are miserable and lose everything fantastic that was in the book, the BBC did a miniseries on Neverwhere, and if you are a person that likes BBC or can at least tolerate it, it's worth checking out on a cold, snow covered weekend. (when not reading, of course) Just thought I would share since Neverwhere was your first Gaiman and the BBC held to the book for most of the dialogue and premise.”

“I appreciate the recommendation. I actually have the dvd set sitting on my shelves, and I agree, it is quite enjoyable. You can tell it was made on basically a $5 budget, but that can be a good thing sometimes (you don't get distracted with flashy special effects, the story/characters actually have to drive the show). And the low budget kind of fits the griminess of London below, so I can let it slide this time. Any other recommendations for the cold, snow covered weekends we seem to be having so often this year?”
