“I found this online when the author was releasing the drafts for free. It wasn't even a published book yet, and I still found myself fascinated. I read it every chance I got, then went looking for the rest of Brandon Sanderson's books. Then I bought Warbreaker when it finally came out in print. :-)
My favorite character is Vivenna, for what that's worth. I think it's because she changes the most as a character during the book, and I like who she becomes — even though, in a sense, she's still a work-in-progress.
There's supposed to be a sequel to this one eventually. I'm excited to read it, if there is.”
