Gumaddict

A very social nerd. I have no problem chatting with random people on the bathroom line at the bar, asking someone on the subway where they got their shoes or reading over my unsuspecting neighbor's shoulder on an airplane. I also always have one or two books going at all times (at a brief point this summer I had three going, and I was in a constant state of confusion), and listen to NPR every morning. I also don't have cable, which annoys both my family and friends to distraction.

my voice, which I like to call "the Rasp". Not quite Marge Simpson, but let's just say when I sing karaoke, I stick to Rolling Stones or Depeche Mode songs. I'm prone to losing it, which is both a blessing and a curse, depending on who you ask.

in the gym, watching the Food Network on the treadmill. (I know, it's kind of sick. Especially since my gym is under a Whole Foods.) Last summer, I spent most of my weekends at the beach because it was SO hot; unfortunately, this meant that I inadvertently became a tannorexic. Now that it's winter, I'm back to my usual snowy white skin.

Public Transportation and homemade mac-n-cheese.

I recently chose the paint colors for my apartment without the aid of friends or professionals. I was paralyzed with indecision for months, but am (thankfully) really happy with the results. Even Juan the Painter was impressed!
