25-year-old woman in Portland, OR, United States
Seeking a man, 20 to 28
I would describe myself as...

An introspective extrovert, an adventurer, a creator, an explorer.

When people meet me, they notice...

My hands. I do a lot with my hands, I think because my mother is hard-of-hearing. It's not just gesturing, though, more a language on top of my words. But no, I don't know sign language. I've also been told I laugh a lot. One person's exact words were, "You're the only white girl I know whose laugh actually starts with an H!" Take it as you will.

You'll often find me...

Reading, I don't care where. Usually with a cup of coffee or tea in my hand. I don't like libraries because I can't write in the books, but I like coffee shops, parks, water, and grass. You'll also often find me in the kitchen making something delicious for people, or else in some cozy remote spot writing.

Two things I can't live without...

Let's assume books, shall we?

I can't live without warmth. I have a space heater I carry with me everywhere I go, because I am a desert rat through and through (roots in New Mexico), and I am happiest when my room is 80 degrees. I also can't live without intellectual stimulation. I've tried it, spent a year working at Starbucks and doing little else, and I ended up seeking out subjects on which to educate myself. It was one of the most (in)formative years I've lived thus far.

The bravest thing I've done recently...

I moved across the country to a place I'd never been to go to a school I knew almost nothing about in order to become something I wasn't sure I could be. Oh, I also knew no one. It wasn't the first time, likely won't be the last. I love an adventure!

I am particularly good at...

Expressing myself through words, writing, crocheting (in a straight line), learning, listening, accepting people as they are, caring for people. I also play guitar (poorly), compose music on the piano (but I can't write it down because I can't read music!), and singing (if there's no one within a mile radius because I am very shy about it). I am also quite good at cooking, and find feeding people to be a great form of therapy.
