“I was never much of a Salinger fan, but that was just based on being forced to read Catcher in 8th grade. This past summer I read 9 Stories, and I was absolutely hooked. I had to read Franny and Zooey. I prefer Fanny... I think I relate to her a bit. In general, my favorite thing about Salinger is the obvious influence he had on Dan Handler. It's like reading grown up Lemony Snicket!”
