“Apparently everyone has read this classic but me, and now I'm afraid to venture through the looking glass into Wonderland because the recent movie version is JUST SO AWESOME that I can't get over it... I don't know how the book could compare to the visuals... I'm like a kid with a tape of "Toy Story." At least once a week I sit around in my jammies eating cereal watching Tim Burton's utterly brilliant adaptation of the book, with references to the earlier as well. I'm like the protagonist in Maugham's "Of Human Bondage," as I believe that, if I just tried hard enough, I could be happy dating the Bloody Red Queen. She'd never cut my head off... would she? And by the way, I'm thought to be skinny and am well known in these parts as an extraordinary pizza chef.”

“I loved this book as a child and even more as an adult. How ironic that a tale made up to amuse the three Liddell sisters as they rode in a boat with the Reverends Dodgson and Duckworth should so have amused and beguiled tens of millions of readers of all ages. It is amazing how children can bring out the creativity in adults just by listening. In a similar fashion Frank L. Baum made up the Wizard of Oz to amuse his daughter Dorothy.”
