“This is what I'm currently reading. It's the 4th book in Lukyanenko's Watch series. A very interesting imaginative account of "others," supernaturals (vampires, witches, magicians, shapeshifters, etc) who live among humans and are separated into 2 groups, the Day Watch & the Night Watch. They're responsible for keeping an equal balance of good and evil in the world.
I read the 1st three books in a row, and then had to wait a couple of years before this one came out, so I'm a little rusty on the others, I may have to reread them. The Russian names take a little getting used to and the beginning of the 1st in the series was initially a bit hard to get into, but it's worth it. Lukyanenko can really tell a story.”
