“I really wanted to add On Writing by Stephen King - which is a brilliant read, and a great audiobook, but it's not listed here yet.
As for The Stand : I would only list the first 250 pages of this book as a favorite, but they were amazing. Very Brutal. ... the next 6 billion pages are pretty forgettable if I remember correctly. It's been a while.”

“Yeah, it kind of goes downhill after the initial Captain Tripps kill-off. Then it becomes another sort of tired good vs evil story that has been done a million times before. Under the Dome is sort of the same thing, but I think it's written better, and it actually breaks King's record from The Stand for being his longest novel.”
